Attaching supports
There are four supports you need to
install to support media or items feeding
into or coming out of the HP LaserJet
3100 product.
To attach supports

Locate the paper input support (A),
paper output support (B), document
feeder support (C), and document
output support (D).

Align the paper input support (A)
with the groove on the paper input
bin and push the guide straight
back into the groove.

Insert the paper output support (B)
into the groove on the paper output
bin.
4
Insert the document feeder support
(C) into the grooves on the back of
the document feeder tray.
5
Squeeze the ends of the document
output support (D), insert it into the
holes on document output slot, and
release the support.
